Dr. Jaime Landolfi, clinical assistant professor with the Zoological Pathology Program (ZPP) in the diagnostics services division of veterinary clinical medicine, has been with the College of Veterinary Medicine for 14 years.

Diagnostician and instructor in anatomic pathology of zoo and wildlife species.

What is your favorite part of your job?
Being surprised regularly by new manifestations of disease in the diverse caseload of the ZPP service and employing tenets of comparative pathology to decipher mechanisms of disease in these cases.

My most memorable day at work was when, as a resident, I had my first octopus necropsy.

What would your coworkers be surprised to learn about your life outside of work?
I have been an instructor and/or performer in improvisational comedy in Chicago for the past 15 years.
