Work Schedule: Summer Position
- Weekday mornings (Monday to Friday) from 6am -9am
- Weekday evenings from 5pm – 10pm
- Saturday and Sunday mornings from 6am – 11am
- You may work up to 40 hours a week, depending on course enrollment
- This position does require working weekend mornings and some holidays.
Job Description
Duties include:
- Cleaning and bedding stalls
- Feeding, watering and caring for horses and cattle
- Power washing stalls, hallways and surgery suites
- Restocking cleaning supplies and feed
- Moving horses around the clinic
Job Requirements
- Large animal experience is a plus, but not required.
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Reliable
- Must be actively enrolled and attending classes at the University of Illinois or Parkland Pathway program.
