Work Schedule: The Medication Dispensary is open from 8 am to 5:30 p.m. (*8 am -5:30 pm for the public) Monday through Friday. All work hours will be during these open hours.
Available shifts will be marked on a shared calendar, first-come, first-served. We ask that students work at least 3-4 hours per week.
Job Description
We are looking to hire a vet student to work in the VTH Medication Dispensary (also known as the Pharmacy). This position will include
- dispensing prescriptions
- assisting hospital staff with prescription pickups
- answering phones
- processing medication payments
- restocking
- processing and packing mailouts
- cleaning
For a motivated student, this is a great opportunity to learn about common medications, dispensing best practices, and frequently asked questions.

Job Requirements
Requirements: Students must be enrolled in the veterinary curriculum and willing to work 3-4 hours most weeks.
