As a pet column writer, you will draft articles about animal health in terms the general public can understand, drawing on the expertise of faculty members at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois.
- The writer will identify topics of interest to animal owners that also showcase the experts and capabilities of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
- After interviewing the faculty member (or resident or intern, or occasionally a veterinary student), the writer will draft a column for review by the editor (Chris Beuoy).
- After the writer gets the edited copy of the article back, they will review it again and address any questions before sending the article to the faculty member for approval.
