Illinois Veterinary Cardiologists Offer Heart Valve Repair for Dogs

CathLabDigest (Feb. 13) – Over the past two years, Dr. Ryan Fries and his colleagues at the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital have performed more than 40 interventional procedures to repair diseased heart valves in dogs. Chronic valvular disease is a life-limiting condition that affects as much as 7% of older dogs.
