Veterinary Student 2025 Internship
WHO: Are you looking for something to do during your summers while you are in veterinary school or possibly coming to our clinic for a clinical rotation while in your last year of veterinary school? How about getting paid to be here? If this interests you please read on. We will pick veterinary students to be part of a clinical rotation through your veterinary school. These students must have a strong interest in small animal medicine that provide not only spays and neuters but numerous orthopedic procedures, internal medicine and various other interests that a small animal clinic can provide.
WHAT: The goal of this 2-3 week internship is to expose students to a rewarding career in small animal veterinary medicine. Mentorship of the student is our top priority. Our doctors practice all aspects of small animal medicine, and each doctor provides services that benefit our clients. Furthermore, the students will choose a project that piques their interest, it could be anything from internal medicine to orthopedics to dermatology or anything the student finds is an area of small animal medicine they would like to be passionate about. They will present their findings to the clinic doctors towards the end of their internship. Best of all, this is a paid internship.
WHERE: Marquette Veterinary Clinic is located in Marquette, Michigan, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan along the shores of Lake Superior. Marquette is becoming an increasingly popular area for people to move to. This area offers many summer and winter activities that many people strive to find which gives them the ability to balance their work and personal lives.
WHEN: This 2-3 week internship will be scheduled at what time will work for your school schedule.
