About Us: Founded in 1950, Colmey Veterinary Hospital has been serving the pets and livestock of Park County for over 70 years. We pride ourselves on providing excellent care to our clients and their animals in a friendly, family-like environment. Our clinic offers a wide range of services, including routine health care, elective and non-elective surgeries, dentistry, reproductive services, and emergency care for both small and large animals.
Our Facilities: We are a well-equipped rural practice, including:
-A full in-house laboratory with CBC/chem/T4 and Zoetis IMAGYST system
-Digital radiography with a brand new x-ray table
-Two portable ultrasound units
-Portable Silencer chute for ranch calls
-Tonometry
-Shockwave therapy
We’re eager to expand our regenerative medicine offerings and highly value acupuncture and chiropractic certifications. We’re also actively growing our large animal practice, welcoming applicants with a strong interest in equine and livestock.
What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a variety of species, especially dogs, cats, and cattle, with some equine and other livestock. Excellent communication skills and a high level of compassion are essential, as we value building lasting relationships with our patients and clients. We welcome experienced veterinarians and are also happy to mentor new graduates.
Our current team includes a 2020 graduate (owner) and the experienced, retired past clinic owner (part-time), providing great support for new vets.
