The Department of Veterinary Population Medicine (VPM) at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in St. Paul invites applications for the Large Animal Medical Director in a contract (non-tenure) faculty position. The Large Animal Medical Director will oversee the Piper Equine Hospital and Large Animal Hospital within the College’s Veterinary Medical Center (VMC). The remainder of the role will include teaching in the DVM curriculum, and depending on candidate interest and departmental needs, may include clinical service and/or research. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The final rank and terms of appointment will depend on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate consistent with Collegiate and University policies. The appointment may be 75%-100%.
