Biography
Dr. Tonozzi graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She went on to complete a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Veterinary Referral Associates in Gaithersburg, Md. She then completed a residency in small animal emergency and critical care at the former Animal Emergency Center in Glendale, Wis. She spent time in a private practice speciality hospital before returning to Illinois as a clinical assistant professor in the small animal emergency and critical care section. She also is a trail veterinarian for the Iditarod Sled Dog Race.
