The neighborhoods are diverse, and community engagement is high, with farmer’s markets, local events, and neighborhood groups. Living here means you’re just minutes from top universities like Harvard and MIT, as well as all the job opportunities and cultural attractions of Boston. And for a city setting, Somerville has beautiful outdoor areas. There are large parks, waterfront districts, walking & biking trails, and wide-open spaces so you don’t feel cramped.
