Canine Cancer Research Advances Human Medicine

WGN-TV Evening News (Chicago, Illinois; June 20) – Dr. Timothy Fan, professor of veterinary clinical medicine at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, is working to develop new treatments for that dogs may also work for humans. Dr. Fan and other veterinary oncologists across the U.S. are featured in Shelter Me: The Cancer Pioneers, a documentary on the role of veterinary oncology in pioneering new cancer treatments for humans.
