News-Gazette (Sept. 11) – A foal that was born 4 weeks early was critically ill when he arrived at the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital in early June. But after two weeks of constant care and being fed through a tube, the foal began to stand and a new mare accepted him as her own.
