Pantagraph (April 19) – Woodford County animal control administrator Tim Abney, who was fired for this action, acknowledged that he had taken a cat from a beauty salon to Associated Veterinarian in Washington, Illinois, to be euthanized, according to the police report. Her head was then removed and sent to the University of Illinois for testing.
