Brownfield Ag News (March 26) – Dr. Jim Lowe, a professor of veterinary clinical medicine at the University of Illinois, says while the coronavirus pandemic doesn’t pose a threat to animal health, it does create concerns for agriculture. “We’re not worried about a direct impact of infecting the critters we work with and live with every day,” he says. But, with an aging rural population, where access to health care is more restricted, there are a multitude of concerns.
