Get to Know Natalie Lamphier

Natalie Lamphier is the assistant hospital director at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She has worked at the College of Veterinary Medicine for 14 years. 

Can you give us a description of your role at the college? 

Support the goals and work processes of the hospital director and assist with hospital operations.

Have you held other titles or responsibilities at the college? 

 Director of Medical Records, Health Information Systems Process Analyst

What is your favorite part of your job?

Interacting with so many different people, students, staff, faculty, and clients.

Tell us about your most memorable day at work.

When I first started working, I was allowed to watch a tiger have a root canal performed.

What would your coworkers be surprised to learn about your life outside of work?

 I love doing anything outside, fishing with my husband. I also love taking pictures and spending time with my kids Kelsie and Bryant.

 Do you have any pets?

Forrest, a 7- year old Chocolate Lab, who is a crazy pup and always the loudest in the waiting room when he comes to the VTH.
