My role is to take care of the animals that stay overnight in the ICU.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Being able to see a once critical patient walk out the door.

When a little Bernese Mountain Dog puppy came into the ICU after surgery. I took him home as a foster and eventually adopted him.
What would your coworkers be surprised to learn about your life outside of work?
I like watching baseball and playing softball. I also try to go back home to northern Illinois as often as I can to visit my family and friends.
Do you have any pets?
A 5-year-old Boxer, Chase, and a 3-year-old cat, Mia.
