Small Animal Services

Neurology

Appointment Times

Orthopedics and Neurosurgery: Monday and Wednesday mornings, with surgeries scheduled for the following Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Small Animal Medicine: Patients are seen on a referral basis only. New appointments seen Monday through Thursday; rechecks afternoons and all day Friday.

For emergency service for animals with acute or sudden onset of paralysis, 217-333-5300.

Services

  • Animals with central nervous system problems as evidenced by seizures or abnormal behavior receive diagnostic and therapeutic services from the Small Animal Medicine service
  • Animals with signs of paralysis are evaluated by the Orthopedic Surgery service
