CLINICAL STUDIES VETERINARIAN WANTED IN DECATUR

We are looking for a full-time veterinarian for our Clinical Trials team. We have the only Clinical Trials building for Veterinary Medicine in the US and currently have 13 trials in progress. Dr. Jillian McDaniel, a 2018 graduate, has done an excellent job, but will be moving West. We have excellent facilities with contemporary equipment. We have 13 Certified Veterinary Technicians and/or technicians in training. Duties of the Clinical Trials Veterinarian include:
• Training on all clinical studies-allergies, fleas, renal disease, diabetes, constipation/diarrhea
• Performing full physical examinations on all pets
• Interpretation of bloodwork to ensure pet is a great fit for our studies.
• Overseeing all current studies and ensuring pets are on appropriate treatment plans.
• Working with multiple electronic data systems
• Answering questions (queries) from study monitors.
• Signing and reviewing paper forms.
• Training on future studies.
• Seeing non-study pets as well.
• On call duties once a week and one weekend a month.
