We are a privately owned, single-doctor veterinary practice

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Associate to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or experienced veterinarian who is looking to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive and unique setting.

We pride ourselves on creating a positive workplace culture that values compassion, communication, and work-life balance. 

Our practice layout includes a separate haul-in facility for large animals, 4 examination rooms, surgical suite, large treatment area, pharmacy, and separate kennel area.  We have two anesthesia machines (1 mobile), 2 cold lasers, dental radiography, and the full Idexx diagnostic suite including Catalyst One, Procyte One, SediVue, inVue and digital radiographs. Ultrasounds are performed by a traveling internist. All orthopedic surgeries are referred to a boarded surgeon. All after hours emergencies are triaged to a local 24/7 facility. No evenings or weekend responsibilities.

    Responsibilities 
  • Perform physical exams, diagnostics, and medical treatments 
  • Develop and communicate treatment plans with clients 
  • Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry 
  • Maintain accurate medical records  
  • Collaborate with team members to provide excellent patient care  
     
    Qualifications 
  • DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school 
  • Eligible for licensure in the state of Illinois 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Commitment to high standards of veterinary care
