Job Summary
Animal Medical Center of Itasca is seeking a new graduate to join our collaborative 6 DVM team! This position is full time or flexible part time. Associate veterinarians will be responsible for providing high quality veterinary care and customer service. Our practice offers a diverse caseload ranging from wellness exams and standard surgical procedures to complex medical cases and emergent care.

Established and independently owned for over 30 years, we provide comprehensive veterinary care for small animals. Our facility
Our animal hospital is over 5,000 sqft with a recently renovated lobby and 6 exam rooms. Separate surgical and dental suites. Dedicated doctor office space and a boarding facility.
We utilize the latest veterinary diagnostic equipment including:
– Ultrasound – new machine purchased 2024, allowing abdominal ultrasound and echocardiography
– Digital radiography including dental radiographs
– Dental and oral surgery equipment – new machine purchased 2025
– In house laboratory
– Partnered with Antech Diagnostics

Qualifications
Ability to provide preventative veterinary care as well as diagnose and treat disease in dogs and cats
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to perform general veterinary surgeries including sterilizations, dentals, mass removals, etc
DVM or VMD degree required
Illinois licensure in good standing or ability to obtain license
