Associate Veterinarian

The Elgin Animal Clinic is a well established one doctor small animal practice located in Elgin, IL, approximately 45 minutes west of Chicago. We are a full service animal hospital that takes both emergency cases as well as less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues.

We are seeking a full-time or part-time associate veterinarian who loves to learn and expand their skills. Our mission is to provide outstanding medical care and customer service in a comfortable and friendly environment. We strive to exceed our client’s expectations for customer service and patient care with a team approach. We utilize state-of-the-art equipment and advanced technologies, including digital x-ray, heated surgical table, complete in-house lab work machines, and AVIMark Practice Management System. Quality medicine is at the forefront of our practice’s goals, and we are looking for someone to step in and carry on that mission. Job requirements include communicating with pet owners regarding how to care for their pets, examining animals, administering vaccines, diagnosing medical problems, creating and implementing treatment plans, prescribing medications, performing routine and emergency surgeries, and euthanizing animals.
