Are you a veterinary student looking for a hands-on externship experience just outside one of the greatest cities in the world? Join us at LePar Animal Hospital in Evergreen Park, IL — just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago!
This opportunity is open to students currently enrolled in a DVM program.
(Undergraduates interested in veterinary medicine are welcome to inquire about shadow days.)

About Us
LePar Animal Hospital is a well-established, 9-doctor small animal practice combining high-quality conventional medicine with holistic options like acupuncture, chiropractic, and regenerative therapies. We offer:
- Digital radiography & dental radiography
- Ultrasound, in-house CBC/chemistry
- Chemotherapy & orthopedic/soft tissue surgery
- PRP & stem cell therapy

About the Externship
This isn’t just shadowing — it’s a real-world, immersive experience. You’ll work closely with our doctors on:
- Routine and complex cases
- Surgical procedures (scrub in opportunities!)
- Treatment plans and client communication
- Case discussions and collaborative learning
