The Pet Buzz (Sept. 21) – Dr. Rebecca Smith, a veterinary epidemiologist at the University of Illinois, noted that “Climate change means that some mosquitoes live farther north than they used to and they’re active longer into what we would consider fall and winter weather that you don’t think of as mosquito season. In some places mosquito season is year-round.”
