WCIA-TV News (April 6) – Dr. Lauren Forsythe, veterinary pharmacist at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, said she sees owners bringing their animals to the hospital because they gave them medicine meant for people. Animals have different sensitivities and digest their drugs differently than humans.
