Clinical Trial Addresses Dogs’ Chemo Side Effects

ciLiving (WCIA-TV; March 11) – Dr. Matthew Berry, a veterinary oncologist at the University of Illinois, is conducting a clinical trial designed to evaluate the conventional approach to treating chemotherapy-induced diarrhea in dogs undergoing cancer treatment. Although most dogs do not experience negative side effects from chemo, Dr. Berry wants to ensure that those that do have evidence-based supportive therapies.
