Illinois AgriNews (Aug. 18) – An outbreak of foot and mouth disease in United States could be devastating for the beef or dairy industry. “Foot and mouth disease is still present in the world,” said Jim Lowe, associate professor in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois, during the Cattlemen’s Education Series organized by the Illinois Beef Association.
