Helping very critical patients and helping students. (I have also given CE lectures and I teach quite a few classes to the first-year veterinary students at the Clinical Skills Learning Center.)

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part is helping the patients go from such a critical state to walking out of the hospital, especially when they can’t tell us what is wrong with them.

My most memorable day at work was pretty much anytime a patient that I worked with goes home after we have fixed what was wrong. Saying goodbye is always sad, but makes me so happy to know they can go home with their owners to live happy lives.

What would your coworkers be surprised to learn about your life outside of work?
I am actually quite relaxed outside of work, unlike at work where I am usually always doing something! I love to read and lounge on the sofa with my dogs.

Do you have any pets?
I have two dogs, a 2-year-old Doberman and a 5-year-old husky mix.
