Associate Veterinarian

God’s Creatures Animal Hospital in Landrum, SC is seeking a full-time Christian Associate Veterinarian who is an graduate or with experience.

With our family-oriented team, we strive to represent Christ in all we do through our care to the clients and their pets while making it affordable. We support our local communities by fundraising during the holidays. Our clinic is a small animal hospital. We provide surgery, dental, and preventative care, as well as disease treatments/managements. We offer a wide-range of different surgeries from neuter/spay/dental to leg amputations. Because we value a work/life balance, we work on Monday through Thursday then have a 3-day weekend off. Join our team and make a differences in our client’s lives.

Where is it located:
Our practice is located in Landrum, SC. Landrum is a growing small town where you can find a variety of restaurants, antique shops, and gift stores. On Saturday’s, you can find the Farmer’s Market or live music. There are many trails you can hike on. Within about 30-45 min drive, you can explore Campobello’s Cover Bridge, bike in Swamp Rabbit Trail, hang out downtown Hendersonville, or watch a competition of Tryon’s Equestrian Center.

What You will be working on:
– Build relationships with new & established clients
– Perform physical examinations with up-to-date procedures
– Create treatments plans on a variety of animal cases
– Operating on a dental and a wide range of surgeries (neuter/spays, enucleations, cystotomies, exploratory surgeries, mastectomies, limb amputations, mass/growth removals, and dental including extractions.
– Taking & interpreting radiographs

Requirements/Preferences
– A commitment to following Jesus and serving the local communities
– A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
– Licensure in good standing to practice in South Carolina
– Minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred but not required
– Collaborate with clients and our team
– Working diligently and effectively with the tasks given within appropriate amounts of time.

Salary: $99,000 to $130,000 depending on experience.
