Faculty, graduate students, and staff recognized their colleagues at the college’s annual excellence awards following a Thanksgiving lunch on November 25. The occasion was held in the atrium of the Basic Sciences Building, where faculty and staff were also recognized for their years of service at the University of Illinois.
The winners of the annual college awards were:
- Shirley A. Seets Staff Excellence Award – Jenny Chen, program coordinator, Veterinary Teaching Hospital
- Robert and Lucy Graham Staff Excellence Award – Nancy Oliver, web development specialist, college administration
- Terry and Judy Rathgeber Academic Professional Excellence Award – Dijon Davis, associate director of marketing, college administration
- Dr. Walter E. Hoffmann & Dr. Ann L. Johnson Resident Teaching Excellence Award – Taylor Hanson, resident, Department of Veterinary Clinical Medicine
- Dr. Gordon and Mrs. Helen Kruger All-Round Excellence Award – Ryan Fries, associate professor, Department of Veterinary Clinical Medicine
- Dr. Gordon and Mrs. Helen Kruger Research Excellence Award – Pam Wilkins, professor, Department of Veterinary Clinical Medicine
