Box Turtle Team

Carly is a third-year interested in assessing box turtle health.
Maris is a rising second-year DVM/PhD student, and I am starting my PhD this summer focusing on ranaviruses and box turtle health.

Cook County Turtle Team

Kami is a first-year vet student, her main focus is conducting health assessments and disease surveillance in musk turtles and softshell turtles.

Kane County Blanding’s Team

Maura is a second-year student who specializes in zoological/conservation medicine and anesthesiology.
Dylan is a second-year student who specializes in zoological and conservation medicine.

Lake County Blanding’s Team

Caroline is a second-year vet student, her main focus is investigating cross matching in Blanding’s turtles in northeast Illinois.
Varun is a first-year student who is interested in zoo and wildlife medicine, and he will be looking at osmolalities in Blanding’s Turtles in Lake County this summer.
