Our on-site pharmacy offers the latest advances in drug therapy, including transdermal formulations, which are compounded into a gel that is applied to the animal's skin, usually on the underside of the ear flap, making dosing easier for owners and less stressful for animals.

Pharmacy

The University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital Pharmacy is a full-service hospital pharmacy that dispenses medications and advises on dosages and pharmacy calculations.

If your animal is hospitalized, our pharmacy will provide 24-hour service through our clinical staff. The pharmacy also provides medications to patients treated by any of our hospital veterinarians.

Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
