Equine Services
Our equine medicine and surgery service cares for pleasure horses, race horses, breeding horses, and more.
Our service area is equipped with two climate-controlled equine wards, two equine surgery rooms with padded recovery rooms, and Illinois’ only Vet-MR Grande Unit MRI (machine that can image horses' heads, necks, and limbs). The service area is staffed by veterinarians 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for emergencies and by appointment for all other services. Additionally, if your animal needs the expertise of a specialist in dentistry, dermatology, oncology, ophthalmology, anesthesiology, or imaging, our equine veterinarians can quickly and easily consult with one of our board-certified specialists.
