SIDEQUEST!

All WEL Fellows report to DuPage county for a all effort sampling week!

This week was interesting for Jaime and I! Unlike normal where we spend the entirety of our week at sites around cook county, we were sent out to DuPage to assist in their summer sampling! Jaime and I spent half of our week helping out the folks in DuPage and the other half doing telemetry in Cook County!

This gave us the opportunity to not only catch up with the other fellows, but the chance to get more experience working on Blanding’s turtles! Cook county has so few of these little cuties that we were astonished to see Dan (DuPage’s Turtle EXPERT) catching ~30 each day!
