When you pursue the Master of Veterinary Science degree, you become a graduate student at Illinois. Admissions Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any field
A minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or better

Meeting these requirements does not guarantee admission. Our admissions team is looking for evidence of academic ability and writing skills, as well as indications of past performance and future potential in your career.

Application Process

You must upload all required materials to the Graduate College Application for submission:

Unofficial transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
Resume
Academic Statement of Purpose
Three (3) letters of reference
Application fee

International applicants must also include:

TOEFL: Please visit the Graduate College English language proficiency requirements for more information and exemptions.
Declaration of Finances Form (if attending on-campus program)
