Hospital Treats Abused Puppy

NewsChannel20 (Springfield, Illinois, ABC-TV affiliate; June 30) – A puppy in the custody of the Sangamon County Animal Control was brought to the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital on June 30. The dog had its mouth taped shut long enough for the underlying tissue to die and will need extensive medial care.
