Other Approved Campus Electives
The courses below are offered through various departments within the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, but outside of the College of Veterinary Medicine. Students may use up to 8 hours of electives from the list below toward the MVS elective hours.
Students may have opportunities to complete other electives through departments within our university that are not listed below. Departmental approval is required to count other electives toward the MVS degree program, and students should contact their academic advisor for further information.
Before You Register:
To register for off-campus elective courses, an override is required. Students must complete a request form to obtain the override. Please contact our office at cvm-ilearningvetmed@mx.uillinois.edu to request the form.
Once the completed form is submitted, we will forward it to the appropriate department and request the override on the student’s behalf. After the override has been issued, we will notify the student via email so they can proceed with course registration.
