Academic Advisor and Program Coordinator
Eleanor’s employment at the University of Illinois began in April 2018 just a few months after she graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree. She started out as an assistant teacher at the Child Development Laboratory where she worked with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Then she took a role as a Resource Professional at the Child Care Resource Service in March 2020 before accepting a role as an Academic Advisor and Program Coordinator at Vet Med in May 2023.
Eleanor currently resides in rural Homer, IL. She has six cats including Zuzu, whom her family rescued when she was about six weeks old.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, staying active in church, attending concerts, going to classic car shows and local carnivals/festivals, shopping, traveling, visiting tourist attractions, going to theme parks, and riding roller coasters. Her other special interests are Disney, The Beatles, British royalty, and old T.V. shows and movies.
