YUEXI (ALLISON) WANG

Allison joined the Mei lab in August 2021. She currently studies the effect of Ptbp1 deficiency on intestinal stem cell regeneration and homeostasis. She also studies the effect of Ptbp1 deficiency on Sertoli cells and testes function.

MEGAN MORRIS
GRADUATE STUDENT
Megan is a graduate student who  joined the lab in August 2025 after graduating with her bachelor’s in animal science from University of Illinois. In her free time, she enjoys biking and video games. Her current project is dissecting the role of enterohepatic helicobacter in the pathogenesis of IBD and colorectal cancer.

AMANDA SARROL
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT
Amanda is an undergraduate student majoring in biochemistry. She joined the Mei lab in Fall of 2025. She helps identifying zebrafish mutants and knockout mice and maintaining zebrafish lines. She enjoys traveling, photography, and spending time with family and friends.
