
Clinical Associate Professor
Dr. Vieson joined the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine faculty in 2016 as an Anatomic Pathologist in the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (VDL). She received her DVM from The Ohio State University and a PhD in Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences focusing on Immunology at Virginia Tech. While completing her graduate training at Virginia Tech, she was also a resident in Anatomic Pathology and become board-certified through the American College of Veterinary Pathology (ACVP). While focusing on teaching in recent years, Dr. Vieson remains a member of the diagnostic team in the VDL providing necropsy and biopsy services paramount to animal and public health.
HPAI in Two Domestic Cats
This presentation will review two cases of HPAI in domestic cats from a pathologist’s perspective, including a brief overview of influenza in domestic cats.
