Brianna Moore

Our laboratory seeks to improve cancer treatment through translational research bridging tumor biology, immunology, and clinical oncology. A major focus is developing therapeutic cancer vaccines and other immunotherapies, with particular interests in dendritic cell biology, biomaterial-assisted immune modulation, and novel approaches for antigen delivery and immune activation. We also investigate tumor-associated metabolic and microenvironmental pathways that may influence cancer progression and anti-tumor immunity. Our clinically driven research aims to rationalize cancer treatment and improve supportive care for companion animals with cancer. Across these areas, we leverage naturally occurring cancers in companion animals to address clinically relevant questions and generate discoveries with broader translational potential.
