Alyssa, a first-year student from Lawrenceville, Ill., currently works as an assistant at a small animal urgent care. Her primary interests are mixed animal medicine and critical care/emergency medicine. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge of the veterinary field.

Caitlin, a second-year student from Mount Prospect, Ill., has a degree in neuroscience from Tulane University. She is interested in small animal general practice, shelter medicine, or emergency and critical care and plans to practice in the Chicagoland area.
