Class of 1983 Scholarship
Chosen based on a personal statement describing working relationships with practicing veterinarians, extracurricular activities, involvement with student organizations, and career goals; the student must also show financial need.

Jessica, a second-year student, grew up in Effingham, Ill., and Tampa, Fla. She is interested in oncology, surgery, research, academia, and small/mixed animal practice. She enjoyed the fast-paced work environment at a small animal walk-in clinic in Tampa where she was an extern.
