Lucas Daniels
Luke, a third-year student from Strasburg, Ill., would like to combine his interests in cattle production and research in his career. During clinical rotations he plans to travel West to get more large animal experience.
Mackenzie Michels
Mackenzie, a third-year veterinary student, hopes to one day open her own mixed animal practice in her hometown of Noble, Ill., where she can offer affordable reproductive medicine for large animals and soft tissue/orthopedic surgeries.
Lyndzi Miller
Lyndzi, a second-year student from Pekin, Ill., completed a master’s degree in the Department of Comparative Biosciences before entering the veterinary program. She hopes to combine her background in the basic sciences with her veterinary degree in her future career.
Kaitlyn Nance
Kaitlyn, a second-year student from Highland, Ill., has interests in equine, rural mixed animal, and companion animal medicine. She looks forward to finding her niche as she completes her studies. Outside of class, Kaitlyn enjoys spending study breaks with her pups and horse.
