Sarah, a fourth-year student from Gurnee, Ill., will become an associate veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital near her hometown after graduation. She hopes to find balance in her career between general practice, shelter medicine, and emergency medicine.

Samantha is a fourth-year student from Batavia, Ill. She will be pursuing a career in shelter medicine with an emphasis on spay/neuter and community medicine.
