Mikayla, a second-year student from Daggett, Mich., hopes to pursue a career in mixed animal practice or production medicine. She aspires to serve animal and human health by ensuring a safe and plentiful food supply while maintaining excellent animal welfare.

Jesi is a first-year student from Glencoe, Ill., who hopes to combine her interests in equine medicine and anesthesiology in her veterinary career. She plans to complete an equine internship and eventually work at, and possibly own, a private practice.
