Emma, a second-year student from Moorhead, Minn., who plans to work with small and exotic animals and has a special interest in practice management. Emma looks forward to communicating her veterinary knowledge to pet owners from the different cultures in her region.

Julie, a fourth-year student from the small town of Marissa in Southern Illinois, has a passion for education, client communication, and small ruminants. She plans to work at a mixed animal clinic in Waterloo, Ill.

Kelly is a third-year student from Marine, Ill. She aims to combine laboratory animal medicine, pathology, and research in her future career. She is guided by an interest in comparative biology, translational medicine, and animal welfare and plans to pursue a residency after graduation.

Kate is a fourth-year student from the southwest suburbs of Chicago interested in equine chiropractic, Fear Free medicine, anesthesia, and leadership in organized medicine. She has a special place in her heart for people and can’t wait to start building relationships in primary care clients.
