For fourth-year students at the CVM or residents of the CVM’s oncology team. Recipients shall have an interest in pursuing a career in small animal medicine & show demonstrated skill and clinical promise in oncology treatments and diagnosis as it relates to feline patients. Preference shall be given to students with an interest in pursuing an advance degree specialization or residency in oncology

Samantha is a fourth-year student from Atwood, Ill. She hopes to complete a small animal rotating internship and then pursue a residency in veterinary oncology.
Samantha is a third-year student from Romeoville, Ill. She has a passion for reading and traveling to new places. Her veterinary interests include small animal medicine, emergency medicine, and zoological companion animals.
