Why Learn Vetstar?

Vetstar is used for many purposes at the UI Veterinary Teachine Hospital, including:

• Patient admissions
• Scheduling and viewing appointments
• Record procedures performed and billing information
• Pharmacy records
• Store and retrieve reports (imaging, release/referral, surgery, UI VDL pathology)
• Track medical records
• Order lab tests and imaging studies
• Record and view client communications
• Patient recalls and reminders
• Retrieving information:

  • Reports, including imaging, referral and release letters, and VDL pathology.
  • Patient demographics such as breed, age, weight, owner, and RDVM information.
  • Diagnosis and treatment data coded into the Vetstar record.
