Lydia Okyere

Lydia Okyere is a Toxicology Scholar, and a PhD student in Dr. Christopher Gaulke’s lab in the Department of Pathobiology. Lydia’s research is focused on evaluating the role of pesticide induced microbial community disruption in obesity. Her research also aims to define the mechanisms through which gut microbes interact with and resist the toxic effects of pesticides.
