Zane Inman

Zane Cutright Inman is a predoctoral fellow and PhD candidate in Dr. Jodi Flaws laboratory in the Department of Comparative Biosciences. Zane’s work focuses on identifying mechanisms behind phthalate-induced reproductive aging in both mice and perimenopausal women. In specific, Zane’s work seeks to understand how phthalate exposure causes oxidative stress in the body, and if this in turn leads to earlier reproductive aging in women. By identifying these specific mechanisms of phthalate-induced reproductive aging, we could then work towards potential strategies and interventions to combat early reproductive aging and thus, live happier and healthier lives.
